Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board (KDRB) was established in 2015 as per the Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board Act of 2015 to advice eligible candidates for appointment, through a transparent process in accordance with the prescribed rules, to all posts filled by direct recruitment except hereditary posts and posts in aided educational institutions in the five Devaswom Boards of State —Travancore Devaswom Board, Cochin Devaswom Board, Malabar Devaswom Board, Guruvayur Devaswom Managing Committee, and Koodalmanikyam Devaswom Managing Committee.
